Andy's Correspondence Just Prior to Leaving

Gabe and I are grateful for your tremendous support as we prepare to leave for Asia tomorrow.  We have cards, letters, gifts and materials for the children’s’ homes, as well as a substantial special offering to deliver to each missionary.  Thank you for your generosity.  We are blessed and honored to serve as your ambassadors to missionaries in the field in Asia.

Our bags are packed; our passports are ready.   We board a flight at 3pm tomorrow for Washington DC, where we will meet some members of the India team from Gainesville Florida.  Then, we fly Qatar Air to Doha, Qatar.  After a 2 hour layover, we are on to Bangalore India, ETA 3 am Thursday, Jan 19.  Once on the ground in Bangalore, we rush to another plane for a 5 am flight to our first location in Northwest India, our first step in a 5 day, 4000 mile tour of ministry sites in India.  It will be an adventure, but we trust in the Lord to sustain us, day by day.  As the prophet Jeremiah said:

The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail.  They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 4 “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.” - Lamentations 3:22-24

I have officially joined Twitter for the first time (username PajAndy).  Feel free to ‘follow’ me (I am new to the whole thing, so here we go…)  My communications will by necessity be of a general nature and will not disclose specific locations to protect our team and our missionaries on the ground.

We appreciate your prayers.  God is great!

Andy
